Father Fraser
Father Fraser
comes to us after having served for eight years at St
Clement's Church, Philadelphia, an Anglo-Catholic inner
city parish of the Diocese of Pennsylvania. Born in North
Bay, Ontario in 1965, Father is a Canadian subject by
birth. He studied for the Priesthood, earning a Master
of Divinity degree from the University of Trinity College,
Toronto, Ontario, in 1990. Ordained deacon and priest
by the then Bishop of Quincy, Illinois, The Right Reverend
Edward H. MacBurney, in 1992 & 1993 respectively,
Father has served his whole ministry within the Episcopal
Church. He was appointed Priest-in-Charge of Redeemer
in 2001 and is now a canonically resident priest of the
Diocese of Michigan. He is a Priest Member of the Societas
Sanctae Crucis (SSC) an organization of priests of the
Anglican Communion who seek to become better priests through
a Rule of Life dating back to the founding of the Society
in 1855 in London, England. Father is an active member
of many Anglo-Catholic devotional societies, including
the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament, The Living
Rosary of Our Lady & Saint Dominic, the Society of
Mary and the Society of King Charles the Martyr. He is
a member of the National Council of the Guild of All Souls,
and is also a Priest Associate of the Holy House, Shrine
of Our Lady of Walsingham (Church of England), in Norfolk,
England. His interests include music, both choral and
instrumental, historical studies, travel and good mysteries. |

The church finances are in the trusted hands of our long-time
treasurer. A retired teacher of mathematics and computers,
he brings to the office fiscal astuteness and integrity. |
